As a Senior Engineer, you will mentor junior staff and drive technical innovation within our engineering division, directly contributing to the future of industrial automation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of complex mechanical systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Conduct rigorous testing, finite element analysis (FEA), and simulation of prototypes to validate performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers to integrate mechanical components into complex systems.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical specifications for manufacturing.
- Manage the entire product development lifecycle from concept through mass production.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical design flaws, providing effective engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automation or robotics sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo) and FEA analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with rapid prototyping technologies (3D printing, CNC machining).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
