Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and systems using industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor).
  • Conduct rigorous stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure product integrity and safety.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Oversee the prototyping, testing, and validation phases to meet strict industry standards and performance metrics.
  • Create detailed engineering documentation, including manufacturing drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and assembly instructions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during the product development lifecycle.
  • Identify potential design improvements and cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
