Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design, analysis, and development of complex industrial machinery and equipment from concept through to production.
- Perform advanced finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, including creating detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and specifications adhering to GD&T standards.
- Conduct rigorous testing and failure analysis on prototypes to identify areas for optimization and reliability improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance product performance.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven expertise in mechanical design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Siemens NX.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) and CFD simulation software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, scalable engineering solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
