Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of complex mechanical components and assemblies.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed engineering drawings and schematics compliant with GD&T standards.
- Conduct rigorous finite element analysis (FEA) and physical testing to validate product durability and performance under various conditions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Oversee the fabrication of prototypes and conduct validation testing to refine designs.
- Identify potential design improvements and cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s Degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA) and 2D drafting tools.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and engineering standards.
- Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or COMSOL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical presentations and reporting.
