Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design of complex products using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, ensuring adherence to GD&T standards.
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations to validate design integrity and stress testing.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing partners.
- Oversee the prototyping process, including 3D printing, CNC machining, and injection molding.
- Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and manage CAD library organization.
- Conduct failure mode analysis and root cause investigations for product defects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and tolerancing.
- Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar).
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
