Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and dynamic simulations to validate design integrity under various load conditions.
- Develop and manage detailed manufacturing drawings, ensuring strict adherence to GD&T standards.
- Oversee the prototyping process, including 3D printing, CNC machining, and rapid prototyping techniques.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and optimize manufacturing processes for scalability.
- Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to mitigate risks in product design.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Proficient in industry-standard CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Siemens NX.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
