Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and prototyping of new product concepts from ideation to mass production.
- Conduct rigorous stress analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure product durability and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to integrate mechanical systems.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs.
- Manage project timelines, drive milestones, and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or PTC Creo) is required.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Experience with FEA/CFD tools (ANSYS, COMSOL) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
