Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-efficiency power electronics circuits for energy storage systems
- Lead PCB layout and prototyping for industrial-grade power converters
- Conduct thermal analysis and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing
- Mentor junior engineers and optimize design workflows using CAD tools
- Collaborate with firmware team on embedded control system integration
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741, IEEE 1547, and IEC 61851 standards
- Research emerging semiconductor technologies and power architectures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Proficiency in PSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, and Altium Designer
- Expertise in SiC/GaN semiconductor devices and thermal management
- Strong background in three-phase inverter and DC-DC converter topologies
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies
- Proven track record of delivering projects from concept to production
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
