Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Lead the mechanical design process from concept through to mass production, ensuring manufacturability.
- Conduct rigorous testing, simulation (FEA/CFD), and validation of prototypes to meet performance standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (software, electrical, and manufacturing) to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Analyze mechanical failures and implement preventative maintenance strategies to improve product longevity.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, schematics, and assembly instructions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Pro/E, or Catia) and FEA analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, additive manufacturing).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
