Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design process for new products and product improvements using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor).
- Conduct detailed analysis and simulation of mechanical components to ensure durability, safety, and performance under various operating conditions.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) for manufacturing and assembly.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot production issues and optimize assembly processes.
- Perform material selection and failure analysis to enhance product reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation and present design proposals to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks preferred) and 2D drafting.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
