Job Description

Are you an engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges? AeroDynamics Innovations is seeking a visionary Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of next-generation propulsion systems. We are a fast-paced, forward-thinking company committed to revolutionizing the aerospace industry through innovation and precision engineering.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of mechanical design—from conceptualization to prototyping and production testing. If you are passionate about creating high-performance components and enjoy working in a collaborative, cutting-edge environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Design Initiatives: Spearhead the conceptualization and detailed design of complex mechanical components and assemblies using industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Simulation & Analysis: Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to validate design integrity, thermal performance, and structural stress.
  • Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and interns, providing technical mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the creation of prototypes using 3D printing and CNC machining, and conduct rigorous testing to ensure product reliability and performance specifications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into mass production.
  • Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to strict industry standards (ASTM, ISO) and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably within the aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo; experience with ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar FEA tools.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes (CNC, additive manufacturing).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
