Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle using CAD/CAE tools
- Design and optimize mechanical systems for performance and manufacturability
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations and physical testing validation
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with suppliers to ensure component quality and cost efficiency
- Develop technical documentation and patent disclosures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years experience in mechanical product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in aerospace or automotive sectors
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
