Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and testing of complex mechanical systems and components.
- Develop highly detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings.
- Conduct advanced structural, thermal, and fluid dynamic analyses (FEA/CFD) to validate designs.
- Collaborate seamlessly with manufacturing, electrical, and software engineering teams to ensure product feasibility.
- Oversee prototype builds, execute rigorous testing protocols, and analyze performance data.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure all designs strictly comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (Master’s degree is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in mechanical product design and development.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
- Demonstrated experience utilizing FEA and CFD simulation tools for design validation.
- Deep understanding of material properties, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
- Familiarity with DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) principles.
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving capabilities and project management skills.
