Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and validate mechanical systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA)
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing automotive components from concept to production
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for stress analysis and thermal management
- Collaborate with suppliers on manufacturing processes and material selection
- Develop test plans and execute validation procedures for durability and performance
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in CAD/CAE tools and simulation software
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack analysis
- Proven project management skills with deliverable-driven focus
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
