Responsibilities
- Design and validate power electronics systems for battery management systems
- Develop embedded firmware for control algorithms using C/C++
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and troubleshooting
- Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
- Analyze thermal management solutions for high-power applications
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on system integration
- Mentor junior engineers and document technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in PCB layout for high-frequency circuits
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Experience with battery management systems (BMS)
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
