Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Perform detailed stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure product integrity and safety under various operating conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
  • Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
  • Participate in prototype testing, failure analysis, and iterative design improvements based on test data.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to strict engineering standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Proven proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor) and FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus, or COMSOL).
