Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations and prototype testing to validate performance
- Develop manufacturing processes and optimize production workflows
- Manage BOMs and coordinate with suppliers for component sourcing
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry safety standards
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in product design and development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards (SAE, IATF 16949)
- Proven project management skills with PMP certification a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
