Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design and validation of automotive powertrain systems using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Optimize manufacturing processes through DFMEA and tolerance stack analysis
- Develop comprehensive test protocols for thermal, vibration, and fatigue performance
- Mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate smart sensor technologies into mechanical assemblies
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and industry partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of automotive experience
- Expert proficiency in CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA simulation
- Proven track record in powertrain component design and validation
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing preferred
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional engineering projects
- Experience with electric vehicle battery thermal management systems
