Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process for complex products, from conceptualization to final production.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models and precise 2D engineering drawings.
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and stress testing simulations to validate design integrity under load.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, R&D, and project management teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Oversee the prototyping phase, including rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration cycles.
- Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement corrective engineering solutions.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and development.
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or comparable CAD platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
