Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to production
- Perform advanced CAD modeling and FEA simulations using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Design and optimize mechanical systems for automotive/aerospace applications
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate innovative solutions
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS
- Proven track record in automotive/aerospace product launches
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFM, and material science
- Certification in Six Sigma or PMP highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
