Responsibilities
- Lead design and prototyping of mechanical systems using CAD/CAM tools
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation for product optimization
- Collaborate with R&D teams to develop innovative manufacturing processes
- Oversee testing procedures and validation of mechanical components
- Document technical specifications and prepare engineering reports
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS
- Strong knowledge of material science and thermodynamics
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Proven project management skills with PMP certification preferred
