Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design of complex systems and subsystems using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Creo.
- Conduct rigorous stress analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate product performance and safety.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including 2D drawings, 3D models, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsâincluding electrical engineers and software developersâto ensure seamless integration of mechanical components.
- Oversee the prototyping process, including CNC machining, 3D printing, and assembly testing.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical design reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- Identify potential manufacturing bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions for mass production.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automation, robotics, or automotive industry.
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor) and simulation tools.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with FEA tools (Ansys, Abaqus, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
