Responsibilities
- Lead Mechanical Design: Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings for new products.
- Simulation & Analysis: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and CFD simulations to ensure product durability and performance under various operating conditions.
- Manufacturing Support: Liaise with the production team to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, manage budgets, and coordinate with cross-functional teams including electrical and software engineers.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the manufacturing or automation sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ANSYS, SolidWorks, or equivalent simulation tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, additive manufacturing).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
