Responsibilities
- Design and optimize mechanical systems using CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS)
- Lead cross-functional teams through product development lifecycle from concept to production
- Conduct FEA/thermal analysis for performance validation and reliability testing
- Develop manufacturing processes and implement lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate innovative mechanical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and DFMEA methodologies
- Experience with automated systems and mechatronics integration
- Proven track record in leading complex engineering projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
