Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using CAD/SolidWorks from concept to prototyping
- Perform FEA/CFD analysis to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for cost-effective production
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for quality assurance
- Interface with clients to define requirements and deliver technical presentations
- Research emerging technologies to drive innovation in automotive systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for automotive/manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFM principles
- Proven project management experience with cross-functional teams
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
