Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced mechanical systems for aerospace propulsion components
- Lead FEA/CFD simulations and validate performance through prototyping
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams for production optimization
- Ensure compliance with FAA and industry standards
- Generate detailed technical documentation and specifications
- Research emerging materials and manufacturing technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Certification in ASME Y14.5 or equivalent
- Demonstrated project leadership in product development cycles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
