Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle for aerospace components using CAD/CAE tools
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop detailed manufacturing documentation and collaborate with production teams
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Interface with clients to gather requirements and present technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and aerospace industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or high-performance mechanical design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Proven track record of developing complex mechanical assemblies from concept to production
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with DO-160 environmental testing standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
