Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of EV battery thermal management systems using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Optimize component performance through FEA simulation and physical prototyping
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams to integrate mechatronic systems
- Develop manufacturing processes for high-volume production with DFM principles
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for compliance with ISO 26262
- Research emerging materials and manufacturing techniques for weight reduction
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and patent novel innovations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of automotive/energy systems experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, and thermal simulation tools
- Proven track record of developing production-ready mechanical assemblies
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFMEA methodologies
- Experience with battery thermal management systems or powertrain components
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional leadership
