Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of complex products from concept to mass production.
- Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA) to create detailed 2D and 3D models and engineering drawings.
- Conduct rigorous testing, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) to validate performance and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
- Define manufacturing requirements and select appropriate materials and components.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks is highly preferred) and FEA simulation software.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
