Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development from concept to prototyping
- Optimize mechanical designs using FEA and CFD simulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration
- Develop manufacturing processes and quality control protocols
- Research emerging materials and technologies for automotive applications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Present project updates to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS
- Strong understanding of GD&T and ASME standards
- Experience with DOE and tolerance analysis methodologies
- Certification in Six Sigma or PMP highly valued
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
