Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production release using CAD/CAM tools
- Perform FEA/CFD analysis to optimize product performance and durability
- Develop BOMs and technical documentation for manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype innovative solutions
- Manage vendor relationships and component sourcing strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in product design and manufacturing
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS
- Expertise in materials selection and DFM principles
- Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and motion control
- Strong project management skills using Agile methodologies
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams
- Knowledge of IoT integration in mechanical systems
