Responsibilities
- Lead conceptualization and detailed design of complex mechanical systems using CAD/CAE tools
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation to validate performance under extreme conditions
- Develop manufacturing processes and ensure seamless integration with production teams
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in engineering methodologies
- Interface with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and patent disclosures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis for heavy industrial systems
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
- Proven track record of optimizing thermal/mechanical performance in energy applications
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification a plus
- Experience with ISO 9001/ASME standards and regulatory compliance
