Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design and validation for next-gen EV powertrains
- Optimize thermal management systems using CFD simulation and prototyping
- Develop FEA/CAE models for structural integrity and performance analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for compliance
- Interface with suppliers for component integration and cost reduction
- Generate detailed technical documentation and patent disclosures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of automotive/mechanical design experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, ASME Y14.5 standards
- Experience with battery thermal management systems
- Proven track record of DFM/DFA implementation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
