Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept validation to mass production
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for structural integrity and thermal analysis
- Develop detailed CAD models and technical documentation using SolidWorks/AutoCAD
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and quality control
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Research emerging materials and technologies for next-gen applications
- Interface with clients to translate requirements into engineering solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFMA, and ISO standards
- Experience with rapid prototyping and CNC machining processes
- Proven track record in managing complex technical projects
- PE license or eligibility for Texas registration
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
