Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to implementation using CAD/CAE tools
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for product optimization
- Develop detailed engineering documentation including BOMs, drawings, and test protocols
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure production feasibility and cost efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for quality assurance
- Research emerging materials and technologies to drive innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of GD&T, DFMEA, and manufacturing processes
- Certification in Six Sigma or PMP highly desirable
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional engineering projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
