Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Lead the design of complex mechanical systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Simulation & Analysis: Perform advanced stress analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and thermal simulations to validate product performance.
- Prototyping: Oversee the prototyping process, managing 3D printing and rapid prototyping workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to bridge the gap between design and production.
- Documentation: Create detailed engineering documentation, including BOMs, technical specifications, and design reports.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
- Software Proficiency: Expert level in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and material science.
- Manufacturing: Experience with manufacturing processes (CNC machining, injection molding, welding) and tolerance analysis.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of troubleshooting complex engineering challenges.
