Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from conceptualization to prototyping and validation
- Perform advanced finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations using ANSYS/COMSOL
- Design and optimize mechanical systems with tolerance analysis and DFMEA methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design standards
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure production feasibility and cost efficiency
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders and document engineering specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in precision mechanical design for high-reliability systems
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and CATIA with complex assembly modeling
- Strong background in materials science, including composites and alloys
- Proven track record in aerospace, automotive, or robotics industries
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems and DO-160 environmental standards
