Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept prototyping to production validation
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for critical components
- Optimize designs for weight reduction, durability, and manufacturing efficiency
- Develop test protocols and oversee validation of mechanical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Interface with suppliers to source high-performance materials and components
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong background in aerospace or high-precision mechanical systems
- Knowledge of composite materials, additive manufacturing, and CNC processes
- Certification in GD&T and DFMEA methodologies preferred
- Proven track record of delivering complex mechanical products from concept to production
