We are looking for a hands-on engineer who possesses deep technical expertise and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what is possible in electrical engineering.
Responsibilities
- System Design & Architecture: Lead the design, simulation, and validation of high-voltage power supply units and embedded control systems.
- PCB Development: Create complex, high-density printed circuit board (PCB) layouts using industry-standard tools (Altium Designer, Cadence) with a focus on signal integrity and thermal management.
- Firmware & Integration: Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate hardware with embedded software, ensuring seamless communication and performance optimization.
- Prototyping & Testing: Build and test engineering prototypes, perform rigorous bench testing, and troubleshoot hardware issues to ensure product reliability.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant safety standards (UL, IEC, FCC) and regulatory requirements.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and provide technical mentorship to foster a collaborative engineering culture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, with a focus on power electronics or embedded systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in circuit design, SPICE simulation, and experience with microcontrollers (ARM, FPGA) and PLCs.
- Tools: Expert knowledge of Altium Designer or Cadence OrCAD; familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities to convey complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with compliance testing and documentation is highly desirable.
