Responsibilities

  • Perform integrated reservoir studies to evaluate development opportunities and enhance recovery factors.
  • Conduct detailed reservoir simulation and material balance modeling to predict field performance.
  • Manage reserves estimation and reporting processes in compliance with SEC and PRMS standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists and drilling engineers, to execute well placement strategies.
  • Evaluate unconventional asset performance through decline curve analysis and rate transient analysis.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior staff and assist in peer reviews.
  • Present data-driven findings and investment recommendations to executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of direct experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
  • Expert-level proficiency with industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
  • Demonstrated expertise in unconventional resource development and horizontal drilling optimization.
  • Strong understanding of economic modeling and project valuation principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
