Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production using CAD/CAM tools
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for structural analysis and thermal optimization
- Develop prototypes and conduct rigorous testing/validation procedures
- Collaborate with R&D teams to innovate new materials and manufacturing processes
- Document technical specifications and create detailed engineering documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in product design and development
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS simulation software
- Strong understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and DFM principles
- Proven track record in leading complex mechanical engineering projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
