Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and environmental compliance documentation
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges using BIM and CAD software
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TCEQ, FHWA)
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental scientists, and contractors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record managing projects over $10M
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and local permitting processes
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with sustainable design practices (LEED certification a plus)
