Responsibilities
- Design and oversee execution of complex civil infrastructure projects including bridges, tunnels, and transit systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, and construction specialists
- Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code, ASCE standards, and federal regulations
- Develop sustainable engineering solutions using BIM technologies and advanced modeling software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar initiatives
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical analysis for challenging urban environments
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative innovation within project teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering with NYC project portfolio
- PE licensure in New York State required
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Demonstrated success in managing infrastructure projects >$50M value
- Strong knowledge of NYC Department of Design & Construction protocols
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex urban engineering challenges
