Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process, from conceptualization and prototyping to final production release.
- Conduct rigorous stress analysis, thermal analysis, and dynamic simulations using advanced FEA tools.
- Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Develop and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Perform material selection and testing to ensure product durability and compliance with industry standards (GD&T).
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during project reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor) and FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, or COMSOL).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
