Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex mechanical systems using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Conduct FEA analysis to validate structural integrity and performance
- Lead prototype testing and implement design improvements
- Collaborate with electrical/software teams for integrated system solutions
- Manage project timelines and documentation per ISO standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Research emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for industrial products
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and FEA tools (ANSYS preferred)
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of leading successful product development cycles
- Experience with motion control systems and pneumatics/hydraulics
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
