Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, and utilities
- Perform detailed structural analysis and geotechnical assessments using industry-standard software
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards (AS/NZS) and local authority regulations
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable urban infrastructure challenges
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Prepare tender documentation and contract administration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years' experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (CPEng) registration with Engineers Australia
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Demonstrated experience with major infrastructure projects in NSW
- Strong project management certification (PMP or equivalent)
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of sustainable infrastructure practices and BIM implementation
