Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Develop innovative solutions for aerospace propulsion components
- Conduct FEA/CFD analysis and prototype validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, manufacturing)
- Drive DFM/DFA initiatives for cost-effective production
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and FAA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years experience in aerospace or high-performance machinery
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and CAD tools
- Strong understanding of materials science and thermodynamics
- Proven project management experience with complex systems
- ASME Y14.5 GD&T certification
- Experience with additive manufacturing processes
