Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle for aerospace components using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations and validate prototypes through rigorous testing protocols
- Optimize manufacturing processes for titanium/aluminum composite assemblies
- Drive innovation in thermal management systems for propulsion units
- Manage project timelines and deliverables using Agile methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure component quality and cost efficiency
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience
- Expert proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Proven track record in aerospace/defense product development
- Strong understanding of AS9100 and MIL-STD-810 compliance
- Experience with composite material design and manufacturing
- PE license preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
