Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, transit systems, and municipal facilities
- Conduct advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and government agencies
- Develop sustainable solutions incorporating green infrastructure and resilience planning
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews for quality assurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects
- PE license in Illinois or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in structural design, geotechnical analysis, and construction methodologies
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $10M in value
- Familiarity with Chicago Building Code and Illinois DOT standards
- Strong leadership skills with experience directing cross-functional teams
