Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects (transportation, water systems, urban development)
- Oversee site analysis, feasibility studies, and compliance with local/national engineering standards
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and government agencies
- Implement sustainable design principles and innovative construction methodologies
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using advanced BIM tools
- Conduct structural analysis and resolve complex engineering challenges
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with large-scale projects
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record in managing $10M+ infrastructure projects
- Deep knowledge of TxDOT standards and local Austin building codes
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineering teams
- Certification in LEED or sustainable design practices preferred
